Bogor Palace

Lately, Indonesian President, Mr Jokowi said that he will often works at Bogor Palace. That statements makes Bogor Palace more famous. Bogor palace inl fact it has been known since long before. Bogor Palace is the resting place for gubenernur Dutch at that time. The reason is because the establishment of Bogor Bogor palace possess the cool air.



Bogor Palace is located right in the center of town. Behind the palace is surrounded by Bogor Botanical Gardens. While the Bogor Palace itself squarely facing north is to the city of Jakarta.

Bogor Palace itself is one of the six presidential palace. The location itself was found in 1744 by Baron van Imhoff who was called "Kampung Baru". In 1911 the palace was built by Stamford Raffles. The palace was originally founded by three floors, but in 1834 an earthquake due to the eruption of Mount Salak. Most of the palace buildings were badly damaged then. In 1856 the palace was rebuilt by leaving only one floor to be able to face the earthquake.

By the founders, was named Buitenzorg or Sans Souci, which means without care. At the time of the administration of President Sukarno (First Indonesian President), the palace is much enhanced by the paintings and sculptures that make it even more special palace.

Civil society can enter into the palace of Bogor. Every year, the palace was opened to the public. Visitors must consent in advance to the state secretariat and also to be visited in groups. Usually this palace was opened to the public in about June is approaching the anniversary of the city of Bogor which falls on June 3
